My description of coaching is to teach a new skill or help improve upon the skill one has. Any level of improvement is progress. Learning the correct body positions of any activity will usually provide some level of performance gains.
When we work together, I want to see what skill level you have initially. Then, we will break down the techniques you do well and the ones you need to improve. We spend time working on both areas.
I believe in positive coaching. Through encouraging, but corrective comments, we will target what will help you improve your overall performances in high jump, long jump, and/or triple jump. We also will strive to add to your technique by building on your event mastery.
We will meet for private and/or group sessions to work on the technical skills that will make you a better jumper.
